|Section2= |Section3= }} Aleph, DOT, or 2,5-dimethoxy-4-methylthioamphetamine, is a psychedelic hallucinogenic drug and a substituted amphetamine of the phenethylamine class of compounds, which can be used as an entheogen. It was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book ''PiHKAL (Phenethylamines i Have Known And Loved)'', Shulgin lists the dosage range as 5–10 mg.
